This policy describes what data RoadChargeAE collects, how it is used, and your rights.
Data we collect
- Mobile number, email, and plate details you enter in the top-up form.
- Payment reference and masked card data returned by the processor.
- Technical logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) kept for security and anti-fraud.
What we do not collect
We do not store the full payment card number or security code. These are processed by the payment service provider on a separate secure page.
Purpose and legal basis
Data is used to execute the top-up you requested, to send receipts, and to assist with refunds or disputes. The legal basis is performance of a contract (the transaction you confirmed) and legitimate interest in preventing fraud.
Sharing
We share minimum data with: the payment processor (for the charge), the clearing provider (to route the top-up to the toll account), and support tools (to answer your messages). We do not sell personal data.
Retention
Transaction records are retained as required by applicable UAE accounting rules. Technical logs are deleted after 90 days unless they are part of an ongoing dispute.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, correction, or deletion by writing to privacy@roadchargeae.org. We respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use a small number of first-party cookies for theme preference and session continuity. No third-party advertising cookies are set.
